GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR YEAR 2017-2019 (MERGED) TETFUND ANNUAL AND LIBRARY INTERVENTION PROJECTS


(1)     INTRODUCTION


The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors and General Public that the University a to undertake the Procurement of Works, Goods and Services under the Year 2017-2019 (Merged) Tetfund Annual and Livery Intervention Projects in the following areas:


(2)     PROJECTS


(1)     Construction and Furnishing of Denary block at Faculty of Life Sciences.


(2)     Construction and Furnishing of Laboratory Complex at Faculty of Life Sciences


(3)     Construction and Furnishing of Laboratory Complex at Faculty of Physical Sciences


(4)     Procurement of Assorted Text Books and Journals


(5)     Subscription to E-Resources


(6)     Procurement of Equipment and Automation


(3)     Interested and eligible Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the various projects and goods mentioned above in the National Dailies and Notice Boards+9.


(4)     The Advertisement is NOT an invitation to tender.


(5)     Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including but not limited to:


(a)      Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)


(b)     Company’s Tax Clearance for last three (3) years (2017-2019)


(c)     Evidence of Current Pension Compliance Certificate expiring 31st December, 2020


(d)     Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act compliance Certificate expiring 31st December, 2020


(e)      Evidence of current Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate expiring 31st December, 2020


(f)      Evidence of Registration on the National Database Federal Contractors. Consultants and Service Providers Documents by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2020 or valid certificate issued by BPP


(g)     Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years (2017, 2018 & 2019)


(h)     Bank reference from a reputable commercial bank with a commitment to provide loan facility for the execution of the contract if eventually won


(i)      List of similar, verifiable and successful executed projects or ongoing by the company (at least three) with letters of award and practical completion certificate in the last five years.


(j)      List of key personnel and evidence of proficiency and experience


(k)     Sworn affidavit


Disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committee of kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.

That no of the Directors have convicted in any country for any criminal offence including fraud or financial impropriety.

(l)      Functional e-mail address and GSM numbers.


(m)    Detailed company profile including Curriculum Vitae (CV) of key personnel.

(6)     The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero reserves the right to invoke the provision of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 on matters regarding these procurements without incurring any liability to bidders.
