PROCUREMENT OF WORKS FOR SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLE AND STREET LIGHTING IN SELECTED COMMUNITIES

REQUEST FOR BIDS

(1)  This Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) follows the publication of the General Procurement Notice GPN for this project, which appeared in the UN Development Business Issue No: WB 1990 – 07/12 dated 13th July 2012.

(2)   The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a Grant from the Special Climate Change fund of the World Bank towards the cost of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Bids is issued.

Bidding is open to Bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank Procurement Regulations of procedure for Procurement of Goods. Works and Services.

(3)   The Kogi State project management Unit (KOSPMU), Kogi State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (KGS-NEWMAP) on behalf of Kogi Government invites sealed bids from prospective Bidders for the Climate Change Adaptation Projects.

2.: LOT 2 Construction of solar- powered Borehole and overhead tank. Solar powered Street lighting and greening of Fetching points Akuu in Adavi LGA and Ekinrin- Adde in ljumu LGA. Kogi State 1,500,000.00

3: LOT 3 Construction of solar- powered Borehole and overhead tank, Solar powered Street lighting and greening of Fetching points Odulugu, Ofu LGA. Emifobida in Bassa LGA and Okugo in Olamaboro LGA, Kogi State 2,500,000.00

(4)    Complete set (soft copy- e-copy) of bidding documents for the works may be purchased at the office address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) cash. Interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the same address. The instructions to Bidders and general conditions of contract contained in the bidding documents comply with the FGN Standard Procurement Documents SPD for the procurement of works.

(5)    Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security in original Form and amount stated for the work as indicated above:

(6)     Bids shall be delivered at the Kogi State -NEWMAP, Kogi State Project Management Unit at the office address below by 12: noon local time on 25 August, 2020.
