PROCUREMENT OF WORKS FOR THE CONVERSION OF 10 GENERATOR POWERED BOREHOLES TO SOLAR POWERED
(1) This specific procurement notice follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the sub-programme which appeared in the United Nations Development Business (UNDB) on 9 March, 2019.
(2) The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) and African Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Inclusive Basic Service Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Programme in Borno State and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of the loan to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of the conversion of 10 generator powered boreholes to solar powered in Bama, Kwaya Kusar, Mafa, Jere, and Nganzai LGAs.
(3) The Project Implementation Unit, Inclusive Basic Service Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Programme in Borno State now invite sealed bids from prospective eligible bidders for the following conversion of 10 generator powered boreholes to solar powered in Bama, Kwaya Kusar, Mafa, Jere, and Nganzai LGAs.

(4) Interested eligible bidden may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the office address below.
(5) A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand naira). All payments must be made into the following account.

(6) The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract arc the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Works.
(7) Bids must be delivered to the address stated below on or before 24 August, 2020 by 12:00 noon and must be accompanied by the required Bid security in the form of a Bank Guarantee. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
(8) Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the following address on 24 August, 2020 by 1:00pm in the Conference Hall of Borno State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency. No I Airport Road Maiduguri, Nigeria.
(9) Late bids shall be rejected.
