EXPENDITURE VERIFICATION OF A EUROPEAN UNION FINANCED GRANT CONTRACT FOR EXTERNAL ACTIONS – FED/2018/397- 308

The two-year EU-funded Technical Assistance to Civil Society Organisations (EU TAC) project is aimed at improving the capacity of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to drive the governance of public sector water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) service delivery in Plateau State and in Riyom and Shendam Local Government Areas (LGAs). This is expected to be achieved by continuous training and coaching of the Civil Society Organisations to understand policy development support development of sector documents participate in governance processes train community structures on WASH rights demand, implement electoral advocacy campaign and facilitate budget advocacy.

Water Aid Nigeria ‘the Beneficiary’ seeks to engage a registered Audit firm to carry out an expenditure verification and to report in connection with a European Union financed grant contract for external actions concerning “Technical Assistance to CSOs to implement WSSSRP III in Plateau State” No FED/2018/397 – 308 (the ‘Grant Contract’)

Firms shortlisted in the pre-qualification stage shall proceed to the next stage of the

PRE – QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Interested firms are required to submit a technical and financial proposal that include the following information

(a)      Detailed company profile providing information on office location including staff strength and details of directors of the company

(b)     Certificate of incorporation as a company in Nigeria issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission

(c)      Documentary evidence describing similar assignments with verifiable proof including years of experience

(d)     Registration to practice by Financial Regulatory Council and respective financial bodies

(e)      Practice license of key leadership or practice managers

SUBMISSION AND CLOSING DATE:

Submission should be made electronically to procurementng@wateraid.org (with the title of the consultancy as subject of the email) not later than 5:00pm on Tuesday 8 September, 2020

Water Aid reserves the right to reject any or all submissions which do not meet the requirements as specified

The evaluation of the received documents shall be strictly based on the requirements as specified above
