REACHING IMPACT SATURATION AND EPIDEMIC CONTROL (RISE)


Jhpiego is an international, non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, United States of America. For 40 years and in over 155 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families. We use innovative approaches, put research into practice and develop creative solutions to improve health care services, and strengthen the capacity of countries like Nigeria to save the lives of women and families


Reaching Impact, Saturation and Epidemic Control (RISE) is a five-year project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria and to reduce the burden of HIV Infections. RISE is implemented by a consortium of partners led by Jhpiego Corporation, with a consortium partner ICAP. The goal of the project is to improve the quality and effectiveness of high-impact, evidence-based HIV/AIDS and TB interventions within Akwa Ibom, Niger, Cross River, and Adamawa states towards achieving HIV treatment saturation and epidemic control.


RISE is soliciting proposals from civil society organizations, community-based organizations and faith-based organizations with functional operations and physical presence in Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Niger to apply for a sub-grant to assist the RISE project achieve her strategic program objectives geared towards accelerating progress to saturation and epidemic control.


Interested and eligible organizations with capacity to implement comprehensive HIV/AIDS programs are cordially invited to request the bid document via e-mail at NigeriaBidQueries@jhpiego.org and submit their proposals in line with the specified instructions, conditions and terms of reference described in the document. E-mail requests for bid documents should have subject written as “RFP -RISE SUB-GRANT


All completed applications should be sent via email to Nigeria.Bids@jhpiego.org on or before Tuesday, 17 September, 2020 by 11:59 PM West Africa Time. The submission must originate from official email address with the full name, designation and email signature of the key officer representing the organization.
