CENTENARY CITY FREE ZONE ENTERPRISE (CCFZE)
INVITATION TO TENDER AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
(A) INTRODUCTION
Interested and reputable Contractors with competences in infrastructural projects are hereby invited to tender for both Technical and Financial Bids for the procurement of Centenary City Primary Infrastructure works at Centenary Economic City Free Zone (CECFZ) through Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) Contract.
(B) QUALIFICATION CRITERIA AND REQUIREMENTS
(1) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (or foreign registration).
(2) Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 years (2017, 2018, 2019).
(3) A Company’s Audited Accounts for the last 3 years duly endorsed by a Certified Accounting Firm.
(4) Evidence of financial capability and support from a licensed Commercial Bank or reputable insurance company.
(5) Company’s profile including Technical Qualification and CV’s of key professional and managerial staff.
(6) Evidence of Certificate of Compliance with Pension Board (PENCOM) (foreign companies exempted).
(7) Verifiable evidence of at least 2 similar jobs executed in the last 3 years (with copies of Letter of Award and Job Completion Certificate) and knowledge of the industry/ project.
(8) List of ownership or lease of relevant Equipment
(9) Names, e-mail address and phone number (s) of contact person on Company Letter head.
(10) An affidavit confirming that all information presented and attached are true and correct of the company. And none of the directors, have been convicted in any court of law for any criminal offence.
(C) GENERAL INFORMATION
This advertisement shall not be considered as commitment on the part of the Centenary City Free Zone Enterprise nor shall it entitle potential companies to make any claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from Centenary City Free Zone Enterprise having responded to this advertisement. All bidders are advised to visit the project site for all works, during the bid preparation.
(D) COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL PROPOSAL
Tender documents will be download from the Employer’s designated file sharing platform upon payment of non- refundable tender documentation fee. The Technical and Commercial bids shall be enclosed in separate sealed envelopes and marked appropriately as ‘Commercial’ and ‘Technical’. Both bids must be submitted in one Large sealed envelope, addressed to the Managing Director, Centenary City Free Zone Enterprise, Airport Road, Wawa District, Abuja FCT.
Only companies with satisfactory Technical Proposals will be have their financial bids opened. Proposals and Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond of not more than 1% of the bid sum. The Bids will be uploaded to the Employer online on or before 12 noon on October 30, 2020 through Employer’s designated file sharing platform which will be sum. Only Tenders received up to 12 noon on October 30, 2020 will be considered and opened on the same day at 1400 hours at Centenary City Sales Centre, Centenary Economic City Free Zone, Along Airport Road, Wawa District, FCT, Abuja. The Employer may at their discretion extend the date for receiving tender. Tenders received after the aforesaid time and date or the extended time and date, if any, will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the Tenderer.
(E) FEE-NON-REFUNDABLE
Payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand US Dollars (USD 2000) or Seven Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira only (N760,000.00) through a bank draft payable to the Centenary City Free Zone Enterprise as evidence of payment is required to collect security code for downloading of Bidding Documents.
